With the new information offered by Chucky's long-awaited backstory for Charles Lee Ray, merged with the doll's subsequent shelf life, Chucky is officially, as of 2021, a 64-year-old soul hiding behind an eternally youthful visage.

He only became evil due to his sad*stic desire to hurt and kill others, as shown when his father was killed by the Hackensack killer, and decided to become just like him because he was inspired by the killers actions.

Chucky's full name, Charles Lee Ray, is derived from the names of notorious killers Charles Manson, Lee Harvey Oswald (assassin of John F. Kennedy) and James Earl Ray (assassin of Martin Luther King).

Chucky's First Kill
