Dean-Charles Chapman made his stage debut in 2005 in the London production of "Billy Elliot: The Musical." He started in the role of "Small Boy," and later went on to play the role of Michael, Billy's best friend. His performance was impressive, and in 2009, Champman moved on to play the musical's titular role. As of 2011, Chapman was the second longest running performer in the show, and the production's longest serving "Billy." In 2007, while still playing minor roles in the musical, Chapman made his television debut in an episode of the British medical drama series "Casualty" (BBC 1986- ). Chapman returned to the small screen again after leaving "Billy Elliot: The Musical" when he starred as Stanley Brown in the series "The Revolting World of Stanley Brown" (CBBC 2012). The series was a science-fiction adventure focusing on the life of a 13-year old boy whose whole world changes when his time traveling descendent pays him a visit. Chapman followed up this role with appearances in the TV series "The White Queen" (BBC 2013), "Glue" (BBC 2014) and "Ripper Street" (BBC 2014). In 2013 Chapman appeared on the medieval historic fantasy series "Game of Thrones" (HBO 2011- ) as Martyn Lannister. In 2014 and 2015 he appeared again on the wildly popular series, replacing actor Callum Wharry in the role of Tommen Baratheon.

Dean-Charles Chapman (born 7 September 1997) is an English actor known for portraying Billy Elliot in the West End theatre production of Billy Elliot the Musical. His notable TV roles include Richard Grey in The White Queen (2013) and Tommen Baratheon in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones (2014-2016).
Arguably one of the best villains in Game of Thrones, Joffrey is surprisingly young for such a devious troublemaker in Martin's books — a mere 12 years old. On-screen, Joffrey is a bit older, beginning Game of Thrones season 1 at 16 and dying around age 20.
I read that one season equals one year in the series. And I read that Loras said in season 1, that Tommen was 8 years old. That would mean that Tommen was 14 when he died in season 6.
The film, based on the Henriad, a collection of Shakespearean history plays about the monarchs of England, includes several fictional characters (such as John Falstaff) and contains several historical dramatizations of the real events the movie was based on.
Sir John Falstaff, one of the most famous comic characters in all English literature, who appears in four of William Shakespeare's plays. Entirely the creation of Shakespeare, Falstaff is said to have been partly modeled on Sir John Oldcastle, a soldier and the martyred leader of the Lollard sect.
Callum Wharry Was Replaced With Dean-Charles Chapman
Like Myrcella, Tommen Baratheon was also recast in season 4 when the role was expanded and required more experience. Tommen was portrayed by Callum Wharry in Game of Thrones seasons 1 and 2 as a young child who was primarily a background character.
The Tommen Baratheon death in Game of Thrones season 6 finale may have been by his own hand, but Tommen's suicide was sparked by circ*mstances beyond the sudden death of his wife. Callum Wharry played the youngest son of Cersei Lannister until the role of Tommen was recast with Dean-Charles Chapman for season 4.
