Annual entry level salary placement from $39,192 - $53,140JOB SUMMARYUnder direct supervision of the school principalQUALIFICATIONSa.Required: 1.Bachelor of Arts or higher degree from an accredited college or university. 2.Valid teaching credential authorizing the teaching of Music in grades 4-12. 3.CLAD authorization 4.Successful experience in interacting and working with peers. 5.Knowledge of curriculum and instructional strategies; instructional materials and methods; evaluation and assessment techniques and procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Depending on location, employee may perform some or all of the following functions.) 1. Ability to teach and demonstrate knowledge and skills in Music including Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band. The ability to teach the reading and writing of music, music theory and history.2.
