How do I drop a class at RCBC? ›

Students may add/drop courses using their student BaronOne Self-Service account, or by a submitting an add/drop form to the Office of the Registrar. A completed form may be submitted using an RCBC student email account by emailing registration@rcbc.edu, or by submitting the form in person during normal business hours.

Winter session courses are great for catching up or getting ahead to stay on track with your graduation and career goals. Stay on pace to graduate. Perform the same or better in your courses. Reach your career goals sooner.

If you must withdraw, you should always withdraw officially by going to your advisor or dropping the class on your student account. You should not withdraw from a class by not going to the class anymore.

The short answer is: it depends on the situation. There are usually some drawbacks associated with doing so. If you're considering dropping or withdrawing from a class, talk to your advisor first and make sure that you fully understand the effect of your decision.

This program focuses on promoting your path to completing college on time by having students complete either 15 credits per semester or 30 credits per year.

RCBC uses Multiple Measures to determine the most appropriate Mathematics placement for all entering students. Multiple Measures include factors such as high school coursework, high school GPA, highest level of coursework completed and standardized test scores including SAT, ACT, PARCC/NJSLA and ASVAB placement tests.

Unexpired, photo-bearing government-issued IDs:

Driver's License. NBI Clearance. Police Clearance. Postal ID.

Some schools require written notice, while others may allow you to withdraw by email or phone. If your teacher or academic advisor is not available, contact your school administrator. They will be able to help you with the withdrawal process.

Students must complete the withdrawal process by submitting the completed Withdrawal form to the Center for Student Success (Day Campus and Evening Campus) or submitting a Course Withdrawal Form through myPortal (all campuses). Requests to Withdraw from a course will not be accepted by telephone.

For instance, if a student is enrolled in 12 credits and chooses to drop a course, their total credit hours will be reduced. A withdrawal is completely removing all of your class credits. In this instance, if a student is full-time and then reduces their hours to 0 (taking no courses), this is considered a withdrawal.
